** VERSE ONE **

When the world finds you lost in a sea of troubles
When you ain’t got nobody to turn to in this world
When you’re down in left field and ain’t got room to move
When you’re aimin’ for the top and got lots to prove
When you lose loved ones and struggling to cope
When you’re shouting for help to keep up your hopes
Look up to the skies, the Heavens are always listenin’
Send up your prayers, the masters will help you sort out things

We are the forgotten children of the war zones,
This is our moment to shine, with speakers and microphones
We are the victims of the fighting, bombings and genocide,
This is our moment to shine, with hip hop beats and lyrics alongside
We came from other states to settle in these great nations
These are our words to hold onto when we’re filled with great frustrations

** REFRAIN **

You can only drop so many bombs before the people fight back
You can only destroy so much of the world before your heart turns to plaque

There ain’t much heart if you’re bent on destruction
There ain’t much peace if you’re killin’ hostages of the nation

You can only kill so many innocent victims before God reacts
You can only destroy so much of the world before karma bites back
There ain’t much heart if you’re bent on destruction
There ain’t much peace if you’re killin’ hostages of the nation

** VERSE TWO **

When the world finds you alone without family members
When you don’t have enough to eat ’cause you’re disabled
When you’re strugglin’ every day as a single mother
When you’re looking for help but only meet strangers
When you’re lost and can’t find your way back home
When you’ve almost given up hope and can’t find the poem
Look up to the skies, the Heavens are always listenin’
Send up your prayers, the masters will help you sort out things

We struggle through the hard times and struggle every day,
This song is to reclaim the memories that have faded away
We lived through the destruction and we live through it again
The wars and fighting broadcasted live on Facebook and CNN
We experienced the calamity of gun shots, bombings and chemicals
The world has lost its’ mind, gone insane, we need to wake up the people

** REFRAIN **

You can only drop so many bombs before the people fight back
You can only destroy so much of the world before your heart turns to plaque

There ain’t much heart if you’re bent on destruction
There ain’t much peace if you’re killin’ hostages of the nation

You can only kill so many innocent victims before God reacts
You can only destroy so much of the world before karma bites back
There ain’t much heart if you’re bent on destruction
There ain’t much peace if you’re killin’ hostages of the nation

** VERSE THREE **

When the world finds you missing without given notice
When you’re dealing with break ups and remember your last kiss
When you have car troubles with expensive repairs
When you lost your shoes and don’t have soles to wear
When you can’t remember the last time your child visited
When you’re locked in arguments without a clear exit
Look up to the skies, the Heavens are always listenin’
Send up your prayers, the masters will help you sort out things

We were raised in hometowns, but we are people of the world’s nations
This is our music to voice our anger and frustrations
We are the united as one — the homeless, poor, lost, disabled and struggling souls
This world is our only planet to live, work and play as we grow old
We can’t stand idle while the world slips into disrepair
This is world is ours to love, to live in, and to share

** REFRAIN **

You can only drop so many bombs before the people fight back
You can only destroy so much of the world before your heart turns to plaque

There ain’t much heart if you’re bent on destruction
There ain’t much peace if you’re killin’ hostages of the nation

You can only kill so many innocent victims before God reacts
You can only destroy so much of the world before karma bites back
There ain’t much heart if you’re bent on destruction
There ain’t much peace if you’re killin’ hostages of the nation

You can only drop so many bombs before the people fight back
You can only destroy so much of the world before your heart turns to plaque

There ain’t much heart if you’re bent on destruction
There ain’t much peace if you’re killin’ hostages of the nation

You can only kill so many innocent victims before God reacts
You can only destroy so much of the world before karma bites back
There ain’t much heart if you’re bent on destruction
There ain’t much peace if you’re killin’ hostages of the nation

** EXIT **

We are the angry, tired, weary and restless souls
We have witnessed the death and destructions as stories have told
We need peace in the world, not the world gone piece by piece
We need people who care, not people who care the least
This is our time to make the world a better place for everyone
The world cannot be divided by race and not just race alone
The world needs unity, our voices need to be heard
This is our song, but it ain’t our last words
